Once again, our buddies at Exxon Mobile have set a new record for most money made in a single calender year- How much you ask- well, how about 3.9 BILLION dollars.. At least now I know why I’m paying $3.24 per gallon of gas…
It has nothing to do with the cost of crude oil, the war in Iraq, refinery shutdown. No, the price of gas is set by Exxon’s GREED coupled with the economic principal of inelastic demand.
Hey, on a positive note, Maybe now they have the $$$ to pay the court ordered sum of approximately $4billion for spilling millions or barrels of crude oil up in Alaska over 10 years ago.

I’ve got a great way to get one over on Exxon - I own the stock and every 3 months they send me some of that $$$ - Is that sweet or what?
Sometimes I take that dividend and go to Valdez and go fishing - it’s great, you should try it before yapping about it.

I’ve made several college tuitions by participating in the stock reinvestment program offered by Exxon. The company is so large that it’s 8% profit on every dollar earned looks enormous, but stack that profit up to financial institutions (banks), cosmetics, pharmacuticals etc… and it is right in the middle of most companys in America.

You guys are such loosers… Investing in our demise.. Where can I buy me some of that stock?
I don’t buy that shit about 8% though.. it’s still 4billion dollars. How about take 1%, and invest that in ways that mitigate all the damage that is done as a DIRECT result of their product. Take another 1% afor development of alternative/clean energy. Oh also- how about paying for the Valdez mess finally..

Here’s another reason to hate Exxon-I used my speedpass this afternoon and pumped $49.50 worth of gas into my car. I waited for the receipt to print and drove off. My mistake was not looking at the receipt which was for $25.03. About an hour later my husband calls me on my cell to tell me that sheriff’s officers are at my home as I drove off without paying. Evidently the station called and said that they tried to stop me (not true) and that I filled up and ran. My husband put the officer on the phone and I told her that I had the receipt in the car. She told me to meet her back at the gas station. I waited 30 minutes for an officer to show up. I showed him the receipt and he acknowledged that the pump must have malfunctioned. There still was no sign on the pump that it wasn’t working and meanwhile, customers were still using the pump. I went into pay the difference and asked the attendant why he called the police instead of me since he had my credit info and I had filled up our other car in the morning. He said that he had tried to stop me but I drove off very fast. When I tried to point out I was pumping for a long time and waited for the receipt to print, was the only person at the station at the time so he wasn’t busy and he had ample time to come out and tell me the pump wasn’t working the officer told me to let him talk and not say anything more. I have a pic of the pump - even though they know it’s faulty why bother putting a sign up when they can just call law enforcement to go chase people down because Exxon employees are just too lazy. Tomorrow-the credit card is being cancelled.

Exxon is a giant oil company that is corrupt and wants your money they don’t care about Americans and the fuel prices are unacceptable. We need to stop their greed, yes stop them. This is outrageous as they made record profits at the expense of the American persons buying fuel at their crummy gas stations, I say boycott them shut down every Exxon Gas Station and run Exxon overseas where they can stay with the Arabians, done deal, bye
