Autoimmunity and MHC

Does anybody know what the relationship is between autoimmunity and MHC heterozygosity? I am wondering if people suffering from MHC linked autoimmune disorders are more or less likely to be heterozygous at a given locus.

as far as i know, MHC loci are so variable that the vast majority of people are pretty much guaranteed to be heterzygous anyway.
