California Wildfires

I’m not sure if anybody is wondering- but the large fires burning in the So Cal deserts pose no current threat to my sites. They are northeast of where I work, about 30 miles. To become dangerous, they would have to cross through Palm Springs/Palm Desert.

I’m cranking through the genetics, and hope to complete the preliminary analyses in a couple of weeks. I’ll make 2 more trips to the field before classes start.
